Default MK V2 with I pilot trouble

when I get the motor up to # 4 or 5 after a while it stops working.
The motor will still turn but power is out to the prop.
If I drop it all the way to 0 and then power back up, it will start working again.

Does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

I had the same problem. Except mine would cut out at 7 after running a while. I took it in for repair and it was the control board. Is it a 70 pound thrust? 24 volt?

    Yes it is 70 24volt.
It would do this when I had the foot control attached also.
It kicks out quicker the higher its turned on. 10 will kill it in a matter of seconds.

    Thanks Bill
I'll check the wiring at the I pilot. I had the same problem when the foot control was hooked up. The breaker on the battery is not kicking out, I still have power to turn the unit left or right. The remote shows that the motor has power.
All the wires have the correct voltage with the unit in dry dock.
I'll have to check it in the water to see whats going on.

The unit was made in 2007, if that helps.
    thanks for the help.

I've got another breaker in case thats the problem to put in.
I need to find the correct wiring ends to hook the new one up.
They are hard to find around here.
