    Default Terrova?

A terrova seems to be about $400.00 higher than a powerdriveV2. The main differance that I can see is that with the Terrova you can use the foot controll with the I-pilot. on the V2 it is either/or. My question is, if I buy a trolling motor with I-pilot will I use the footcontroll enough to justify the $400.00 I do a lot of fishing along banks and in timber, will the handheld remote work for this as well as a foot controll. Or do I need both?

The foot control is nice to have onboard if the battery in the remote goes out while you are fishing.......also the remote is nice when spider rigging or trolling but I still like the foot control when single pole fishing. So....I like both.

i prefer both, there are two many times the foot controll comes in real handy and there are just as many times I love to sit back and let the remote do all the work.

G have u used the v2 powerdrive ,cause ive been out with someone that has a terrova and sterring response seems about the same, the older powerdrives were know for the slow sterring that everyone talks about.

Strip, I have a Terrova and a Maxxum. For the kind of fishing that you are talking about, I highly recommend that you try one out B4 you make the purchase. The Terova is great for trolling but the foot control has some issues.

A friend of mine bought a new PD with CoPilot last year....I assumed it was a V2, but I don't know. I tried it and it does not steer as good as my Terrova.....thats all I can tell you.
