    Question Mounting an i-pilot

Got a new i-pilot for my Tracker 175 that currently has a Motor Guide unit on it. In removing the Motor Guide, is there nuts under the mount? There is a 7 ft rod storage in the bow, and if there are nuts, I'll have to climb into the rod storage to get a bind on the nuts? Problem is, I won't be able to fit!!!! I don't want to start tearing things up not knowing how it's mounted. Thanks for your help.

I was able to reach through my forward panel. Remove the screws and push things out of the way as best you can, but don't disconnect anything. It's a nightmare of wires for the average person to deal with. Good luck.

I didn't see a forward panel. Is it under the carpet on the deck, or on the wall in the storage box on that side? Thanks for your help.

I think he is talking about the pannel the switches are in. Thats the way i have to get to the bolts on my trolling motor but mine is fiberglass.

What year is your Tracker? Mine is an '06 and I was able to take the front panel off (the one that goes all the way across, not just the small one where the tilt switch is), and reach in to get to the nuts. It's a two person job.
