Hard to reach
This is elementary and simple, but as it escaped me for an hour while installing my new TM last week I thought I would post it and maybe save someone a little grief. My install was on a bass boat and the 2 forward screws for mounting the TM were waaay up front with very little room for my big meat hooks to get into. Screws came from the top down, and a fender washer and nylock nut on each underneath. I tried everything I could think of and finally came up with this after chasing errant hardware underneath the front deck after I dropped them. A spot of silicone on the bottom of the nut, apply to the washer and let harden. Now it's one piece and you can hold it and snake your hand around the many obstacles and not spend half of the install time in retrieval mode. Just thought it was worth a mention, thanks for looking.
