Interlink ?

Huminbird Greg ? I am running 2 900 series with a separate interlink. I am going to replace one of the 900 with a 1197 . Will I still need my separate interlink or can I use the 1197 stand alone ?

My 1197 on the console works with or without the front unit on. I do have two transducers and two GPS pucks, one for each unit and the Interlink between the two.

If its a 998 you can go with the ethernet cable and lose the interlink..... more better.

I have the 987 si. The 1st generation. probably need the interlink.

The units can run by themselves and GPS will work as long as you have a GPS Receiver connected to each unit.
The InterLink would be needed only if you want to share waypoints between your units.

What 900 series model will you end up pairing with the 1197 unit?
