    Default really frustrated.

Heres the deal. I wanna buy a fish finder for the front of my boat. I know i need to get a bracket for my trolling motor to mount the transducer. My prob is that NONE of the sporting goods stores i go to can help and im havin a hard time on the internet searching cause soooooo much stuff pops up that my brain gets overloaded. I wish when you go to order a unit online that it offers the tm bracket at an additional charge. I have found several units i am intrested in purchasing but when i try and search for a bracket i cant find any. How do i find the right bracket for the unit that i wanna buy? Lowrance and Hummingbird's web site sucks!

I stand corrected. Bass Pro offers the bracket as a complimentary product for an additional charge when you order a unit, guess im just gonna go with them.

I bought the bracket for a humminbird for my trolling motor and it works great. I think it only cost about $12 or so, and it has been on there for about 4 years with absolutely NO PROBLEMS!

On lowrances site, click Marine Electronics, accessories, then choose the model your interested in, choose the catagory, in your case transducer brackets, then click search. All the transducer brackets that Lowrance offers for that unit will be listed. How does that suck? Pretty straight forward, I'm sure HB has something similar.

For Lowrance you can go to LEI-Extras.com and choose your fishfinder and it will show all the accessories available.

thamls for the help. I know how to find em now. justinp61, your right, it is pretty straight forward now but try going to 5 or 6 diff sporting good stores and talking to a bunch of guys who dont know anything about there job or how to help find out, its pretty frustrating. I guess i was just ecxpecting the sites to have em on the main screen or sometihng, i dont know i was in a bad mood at that point.

Just use a hose clamp and the regular transom mount. It works just as well and is cheaper.
