    Cool Lss-1 rigaround

I am currently running a HDS-10 on the back and HDS-8 on the front with a LSS-1 transducer on the back transom. I am thinking of buying just a LSS-1 transducer and putting it on the front and just unplugging the back transducer wire and plugging in the front LSS-1 tranducer wire to the LSS-1 head unit and be able to see downscan at the front trolling motor. Also thinking of making some kind of bracket on the stationary part of the trolling motor shaft and running the LSS-1 transducer so it will be stable. Might get old changing the wires at the LSS-1 unit but I sure would like to have downscan up front most of the time.I get tired of pulling the boat up to see what the stake bed looks like on downscan. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.......Ifish

Great idea.I use downscan all the time on the bow.Probably more useful than sonar.I've got two HDS 10s but I've got two LSS-1 boxs so I don't have to switch any cables around. If you want just the LSS-1 transducer you can get it at LEI electronics.

2 LSS1 was what someone suggested to me. Ranger, did you get your noise problem resolved?

If you have your Ethernet connected you can view the LSS-1 from either or both units, unless you just specificly want to view from the trolling motor.

I think he wants the LSS transducer up front to see when hes right over a stake bed Not 18ft. past it. You think they would make a switch to switch from front to back off of same lss1 without unplugging cables.

This is what I want, but Lowrance doesn't make one for the LSS1. Sucks.

No CP haven't really done much as far as the noise. I know NOTHING as far as trouble shooting but I can see nobody else up here knows anything either. Sure wish I lived closer to you. The Ranger dealer up here says they corrected an interference problem on another boat with an interference kit from Minkota. I don't know what it is exactly but saw a photo of it and was a small black plastic box with a red and black wire coming out of each end. They are suppose to have one on order for me. We'll see. The 2 LSS-1s work out great. Only draw back is the extra $500.00 for the extra box and transducer.
