Go Lowrance! I've seen em both. You'll see things with the Lowrance that you never will with the HB. I've got 2 HDS10s and 2 LSS1s so when at the trolling motor your transducer is not 21' away. Works for me!

assuming that the LSS1 is the side image transducer, how do you have it mounted up front?

The LSS1 is actually the so called "Black Box". The side imaging--down imaging transducer comes with it. I have the transducer mounted to the trolling motor. I use the factory mounted transducer on the Minkota for 2 diminsion sonar.

could you mount both transducers, 2d and Lss1, on the trolling motor at the same time? assuming you did not have a factory install MK transducer.

No problem. They are on different Freq.
