I got the terrova 12v us2, 80lb. Could not get it with built in i-pilot, had to buy seperately and add.

Mine came from iBoats.com and it still looks like they have a good price on the 24v 80# Terrova w/ US2 and iP already installed. You only get one choice of shaft length, 60", but at $1,250, this deal is much cheaper than buying the Terrova and adding iP. Cabellas, for example, lists the 80# Terrova w/ US2 at just over $1,125. The iP lists for an extra $400--and you do the installation!

I didn't need the 60" shaft, but it's not in the way & can be cut down if I want.

If you get one and need the shaft cut MinnKota told me to get an "Authorized Service Center" to do the work and it wont void the warranty.

Good point. I'm getting used to the longer shaft & it's not in the way. If you go under low bridges, it's usually possible to lower the unit temporarily. If the restricted area is both a low clearance and shallow, pull the motor out, stow it, and push the boat by hand.
