Cabelas or bps has the timer and the lighted acc switch, they used to carry the switch anyway if they dont have it let me know and I will sell you one and it also has a pop-out fuse that goes with it.

Does anyone know of an off the shelf timer that can be installed to control the time the live well pump is on???
I want a control that will cycle the pump on about every five min, for two or three min.
Also would like to have an LED placed next to the livewell switch to indicate that the "SWITCH" is turned on.

most timers and BPS and Cabelas will allow you to run the water for 1 min or so on a cycle of every 2, 4 or 6 mins. So if you have it set to 6mins for example. Every 6 mins it will kick on and run for 1 min or so. Does this help? AS for led lights, if they are not on the switch panel itself that you buy for your timer, you can get some 12V LED lights at radio shack in a small housing for about $3 each.

The ones I have are round and one end of the knob is lighted and with the same type fuse.
sounds like brush has what you might want. Is it a 2-4-6 timer brush? Can you post a pic. Others might want it if he doesn't.
well i bought some LED lights that were rated for 12Volts...That had them in lower volts too...Maybe Radioshack just labels them that way for the common folk.
The two that I have are way better than the ones you can buy at BP or Cabelas. Here is a link: Livewell Timer They are a little pricey but you can set the on/off times to what ever you want and it monitors your batteries charge and will shut itself off if the battery starts to run low. It is also solid state and waterproof. I did a lot of research on these over the winter to make sure I installed good ones. Hope that helps. I just installed 2 in a old bass tracker II that I modified this winter.
