    Cool New 997 software update


    Checked the HB website tonight & saw a new 4.950 software update that came out today.

    I see they added they added restore defaults to the update program so you want haveta rely on the ole brain to do it, however the instructions say to manually restore defaults before upgrading. Catch 22.

    Also says adds gps improvements. Could it be?????????

    Plenty of us have complained about this and apparently these complaints have fallen on deaf ears and/or HB is incapable of repairing the fault with the present design configuration. Would be nice to have a courtesy response instead of I dunno or it is on the this. How many years we complained about this now?

    If u want to find it the first time get HB side imaging

    If u want to find it a second time get Garmin GPS:rolleyes:

    :D :D :D Very, very, very true. Yesterday i tried to re-find a spot that i marked last week while trolling. Took me 20 minutes of going in circles trying to locate it. I did find it tho.:rolleyes:
