    I don't think catch up is the correct term with regards to the HDS and SS units. I'd probably call it "leap frog".

    Since almost every new boat I see comes with an MG, I doubt they are going in the crapper. The autopilots have a limited audience, make no mistake. For a guy that fishes in timber 90% of the time, I know I couldn't have an unresponsive steering unit.

    I heard that Lowrance paid for the rights to build the side image , that could be why the service is so good at Humminbird and so bad at Lowrance .

    Sorry about that CP. I was looking at that yesterday in the garage and remembered I was going to send it. I will get it out this Saturday.

    Don't give up on me yet.

    Also have a spare tx with temp and they splitter cable and a new power cable with choke. Do you want me to through these in also? The tx has a small break in one of the eyes, but I imagine with a little epoxy, it'd be as good as new.



    Also I have an SI transducer that came with my 797 and a brand new mount base that I'd like to get 30.00 out of, if anyone is interested.
