Where did you(anyone) mount SI transducer for motor with no jack plate to avoid problems with trimming motor?

about a foot to the right or left of the motor on the transom will do just fine, just make it level, thats where mine is and works great, just be aware of motor being trimmed all the way down could cause a blockage

If you have a glass boat, the bottom of the hull step is a popular spot.

Your manual will tell you which side of your motor you should mount it on based on your props rotation direction. Some people just use the side scan on one side of the boat so that they don't have to worry about trimming up their motor. On my jon boat with my 9.9hp motor I trim my motor up and out of the way manually. With my new Lund boat I just have to trim it a bit to get the motor out of the way.

If you will take a picture of the transom and email it to our customer service department we will give you a suggestion on where to mount the transducer. There email address is [email protected] .
