    Default Which settings?


    I have a new HB 898. There are three presets and I was wondering which views you'd suggest putting into those presets. Right now I have the Sonar/Map view, SI/Map view, and SI/DI/Sonar view.

    I use...

    Si/Di/Sonar
    Chart/Sonar
    Snapshot/Recording

    Using the Snapshot/Recording as my third preset allows me to get to the recording button in less clicks....

    I have the same settings cept I have the first two swapped. These seem to be the most used for me and then I use view and exit to get to others close by to each.

    I have mine set with:
    Si/Di/Sonar
    Si/Chart
    Di/SI
    ***There has to be a fish somewhere needing to be caught!***

    I think I only have about 7 of the views visable.....

    Lots of views in this machine that I would rarely use...

    Keeping them hidden allows me to, also, use the view and exit buttons (along with the 3 presets) to get to the screens that I use the most....very quickly...

    RNvinc How many chart views do you have? will a navionics card work on all chart views. If you have only one chart view will you be able to navigate and still use navionics from same chart view.

    I only have 3 chart views visable....

    Si/Chart...I use this view when searching for structure/waypoint (old or new)
    Sonar/Chart...I use this view when I'm really gettin close to the waypoint...
    Chart...I'm thinkin of hiding this one because I never use it....

    As far as I can tell the Navionics card works no matter how many there is in visable in the views....
