At first I was having second thoughts. After getting use to it I would not troll without it. I just had to calm down alittle and give it a chance to do it's thing.

I have made a couple of worthy additions to my boat this spring.... one has been a minn kota 3 bank charger. I love the ease of just plugging in and all 3 batteries are charged and ready to go. The other has been the I-pilot. I had to change out my motorguide for the minn kota terrova and when I pulled it out of the box and saw how it had to be mounted I just about crapped. However, after building a mounting plate, I am happy with the install. As for the Ipilot .... that spot lock electronic anchor is the "bee's knees". I love that thing. Sure , it is not perfect...but man has that made my life easier. When I find a hot spot, I am pushing that spot lock button like there is no tomorrow.

I love my I-pilot. Before I got mind, while setting up all my rods, for spider rigging,if very much wind blowing would be all over the place and if I was in a small area would have too be cautions at all time not too be push up on shore or into the bank, now I just hit my spot lock holds me in place while setting up all my rods. This is just one of the advantages of the spot lock,I am looking forward seeing out it will worked while night fishing, might be able too do away the anchors :D.
