    I don't have my unit here, but

    go to setup tab
    scroll down to readouts
    scroll over and see 1-5 readouts
    you can arrow over on the individual readouts to change the display setting.

    Just a thought. easy check and easier than changing the biscuit.

    Best thing to do is use a handheld that works and verify the HB unit next time out.

    How fast (estimated) you believe you were going? It is hard to guestimate .4-.1 mph.

    The readout shuts off when the donut comes on?

    my m.p.h. never went to o.o although it was pretty windy. Could not control boat most of time speed was in reverse or side ways. I thought of handheld also next time i have a garmin.

    3 years ago, there was no such thing as a 1197 or 998. Well, lets say they were not available to us "common folks".:rolleyes:

    Oh cane pole i almost forgot I have a 14ft. john with a 10hp. against the wind flat out speed said 6.6 to 6.9. does that sound about right.

    I dunno. How fast it go without the wind?

    I got a 15hp on 14 footer. It goes about 23mph downhill.
