Try another speed window. The speed display might be screwed up showing false speed. My guess.

The speed is by gps how can it be wrong unless the antenna is bad right?

you can change you speed readout overlay. The speed picture box.

I'm not sure of ture speed, but I also did not get the donut now until speed reads 0.0. Check it a couple times today slow trolling, could just be luck :D

ok cane pole walk me through it what menu?what do i change? I just cant see how gps could be inaccurate.

Had the donut on my 788 yesterday at .4mph or less.

Gps is great, but it ain't dead-nuts perfect. We were trying to run a ~15' +/- wide channel one day. Icon center channel, 2d showed us up on the break. Just one example. Trolling no biggie, but don't be skinned back trying to run a small channel lined with stumps high enough to knock a lower unit off. You'll really be disappointed in gps then.
