Thread: Using GPSBabel for HB waypoint conversion.

Works like a charm. Make sure you send the folder to the card and not a shortcut, works a lot better that way. :D
Also, if you don't have a way already, easygps is free and you can edit your point list to suit you. Your points come up on a split screen with pointlist/map. Very handy. I had points on my handheld (of everything, duck hunting spots, work points, etc.) that I wanted to cut. I didn't need them all on my FF. Loaded them into easygps, edited, saved to flashdrive, followed CP's instructions, and SHAMWOW

CP sir does this add or replace to the existing w-points on the HB?

what about going from Hb to Lowrance?? or from Hb to Garmin? I gots to do that one also. I am putting each lake on its own SD card, well must were butwhen one is old, he gets to forgetting right card so some from lake X end up on lake u & so on.

Ricky, it will add to the existing waypoints.

Jax, GPSbabel will convert HB to Lowrance files.
