rtark, you must have better shoulders than I. I have to switch one pole from hand to hand every few minutes. No way could I fish two all day! when I fish more than one, they go in a rack! Grizzly jig is going to cut my terrova shaft wednesday morning, get to keep the warranty if they do it.

LOL, these spinning rigs are light and they rest on the boat rail. I just do this when the fish are deep and they are suspended. Glad you have a dealer close by.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

Funny I ran across this thread!!! I went out today with my new terrova and HATE the foot pedal. My uncle and I both tried running the sucker and for running and turning right.............. No problem but the way the pedal is to have my foot on the power button to make it go I have to let off of the buttom because when you press down with your heel to turn left you HAVE TO take your toe off the power control. I have the Ipilot but we were fishing brush on banks today and foot contorl is a must. I was madder than hell today...... There is absolutely nothing you can do to fix it either. The design sux!!! If the pivot point was further towards the top of your foot it would be fine but its way back about where your heel is. to put pressure at that point you have to get off the go go button.

Yeah that design SUCKS. I have gotten to where I only use the back arrows. It sure would be nice to one day buy something and have it outperform my expectations.

I have had mine out 5 or 6 times and have not had any of these problems. CrappieCrazed
sounds to me like you need some bigger shoes on your feet, when you run the foot control. My foot control works easy. Better than any I ever had. It don't take much pressure at all to make my motor turn right or left. It may be like any thing new you will just have to use it to get used to it. Good luck guys!!!

I am not that happy with the foot pedal either cuz mine would not make a contact on the left turn untill Shilowred told me about a fix. I replaced the two screws on the bottom of the pedal with longer screws so contact is much easir now. But the design does suck even though it functions much like my old cable TM.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
