Take the prop off look and see if there is any fishing line wrapped behind it. Also run it as slow as you can with the prop off and see if the prop shaft is bent. Also move the prop shaft back and forth see if the bearing is shot. Other than that maybe the mount is worn out and it's time to get a new MK Terrova with I-pilot.

Check the balance on the prop. I had a similar problem on a similar motor. I checked balance and used lead tape on the inside surface of the prop hub to balance it. Most of the vibration went away. I would change props if it is really out of balance.

BamaMan that was some funny stuff!! Heck, I'm still laughing. :D:D

Seriously though I did find the problem and it is not good. As I looked closer it became obvious that the shaft is bent. Thanks for everyone's help.

Also, come on over and visit with me and wife in ouir RV for the Iron Bowl on the Plains in 2011:rolleyes: Heck, come see us anytime, if you're that funny on line you gotta be something else in person,

I had an old Motor Guide that rocked like a baby in a cradle over 1mph. Gave up fixing the problem and made me a skag and mounted it to the shaft above the motor. Fixed the "wiggle". Cheap fix too.
