I run my troller to two batteries wired in parallel. The troller is hooked to one battery(+ & -) and the DF is hooked to the other battery(+ & -). No problems, even with the two batteries connected together. Here's another suggestion if you have room...pick up one of those small lawn mower batteries for the DF if youre getting interference as long as you have room to stow it.
