    Do any of you guys format your SD card before you load your updates onto it...??

    I always format. I do not want some stray bit of info glucken up the whole deal. Maybe its being a bit overcautious but its worked for me do far.
    Garminarmin gpsmap 1040 xs networked with Garmin gpsmap 1242 xsv , Panoptix PS 30 and PS 31. Livescope LVS 32
