    This Garmin blank memory has got to be the biggest rip off I've ever seen.

    Inside is nothing but a flash memory rigged with dedicated pins. Nothing special inside.

    64 meg = 50 bucks.

    Never ends does it?

    I agree. Part of the reason I dumped garmin. should be 8GB for that amount of money.

    A little OT, but have ya'll looked at the prices on Garmin df/gps combo
    units lately? I got the first 2010 catalog in other night, was glancing
    through the electronics, and noticed a 5" screen sonar/gps over a grand
    No SI of course, just 2D sonar. Even a 4" screen was high.
    Just my opinion, but looks like they don't want to sell too many the
    way they are pricing them.
