Navionics SD Card

I have a navionics SD card I have used for years. I recently had to replace my GPS, a Lowrance h2o, and the card will not read in the new GPS (same model). I apparently had a power surge and killed my old GPS, so do you think my SD card was zapped also? Any thoughts?

can you read the card with your computer???

some of the new units ask which card/map service you have pull up the map page and select nav. option. you will see two options. lowrance /navionics.

I tried the chip in another gps with no response. Must be a gonner. My gps does ask you to select which map on the chip you want to reference but it will not give you any choices if the gps does not recogize that a chip has been inserted.

I have not given up on it completely. I am going to try it on a pc or another gps.

talk to nav. they might help u out. i think it would be worth a try
