Hello Don, Seeing the pictures of those fish you're catching from your local honey hole, why worry about a down imaging unit? When we meet up in the spring, I might have to steal the batteries from your GPS to even the playing field! Glad to see the Fish Gods are smiling on you. I think my nephew, Roger's & Maxine's son, has figured out a way to get you the waypoints..We will know soon...Does your Garmin(is it a 595) have an SD or micro slot? Let me know so we can move forward...

Hello Don, I have a 498C which uses the Garmin micro card, not a SD card. I do have Mapsource software plus the cable to connect my 498 to the computer. If the waypoints can be saved to a Cd, SD or 3.5" disc, I could then transfer them from my computer to the 498. I think:rolleyes: Let me see if I can mark some random waypoints on my Mapsource program, then save them to a CD, and then load them on my 498C. Thanks, Ron
