I believe you can turn that alarm off so it never shows or lower the voltage setting that triggers it.

Did everyone get the update to work right? I would love to stop mine from showing the low voltage message all the time, but know some had issues with the udate. Also If I read right, I have to get a cord to update my Matrix? It will not update from the card like my 987c-SI?
Also going to order the Interlink Monday I think I remember Jeff White posting he has both GPS Receivers working on his. So guess I need to order 2 extra cables? I know he posted what they were, Will do a search and see if I can find the right ones.
Getting this ready for the fishing trip at Paris Landing state park next week.:D

There is (or was) an automatic Low Voltage message and a Low Battery Alarm. These are separate from each other. The 4.210 software turned the automatic message off.
Unless you have some really ancient software in your Matrix 97 Pete; your Matrix 97 should be able to be updated from the SD card slot.
What two cables are you referring to for the GPS and InterLink? The InterLink will come with two cables so you should only need the AS-YC Y-cables that came with your units to be able to connect them to both the GPS Receivers and the InterLink.

Thanks Greg now I know why that extra cable is for with the 987c-SI did not have one in the Matrix 98. So guess I will have to buy one of the AS-YC-Y cables? AS I need 2 of them and only have one?
Also the matrix 97 is only a few months old. So I will try the update with the SD card.
The picture is worth a thousand words to me. Will have it hooked up by Thursday and get to try it out 4 days in a row.:D

Pete,
Call up Humminbird’s Customer Resource folks (1-800-633-1468) and tell them you did not get the AS-YC cable with your Matrix 97 unit and that you need it!
