The spot lock looks great. Staying on a brush pile would be a hole lot easier. Looks like the cruise control would be pretty handy for trolling as well.
I can see somebody putting a boat on a point or dock or hitting another boat using it while they tie on a new bait or land a fish though.

Yep. Couple years ago they didn't have the high accuracy gps chip set. I will believe this when I see it. I was/am familiar with the Raymarine Helmpilot and it was a flop. The motor wore out from all the heading corrections caused by the gps inputs. You know how your heading arrow jumps, well the shaft drive motor gonna follow the directions.Originally Posted by J White

I will bet is has a combination of GPS plus magnetic compass. It is over my head. I am obsolete.:o
