The spot lock looks great. Staying on a brush pile would be a hole lot easier. Looks like the cruise control would be pretty handy for trolling as well.
I can see somebody putting a boat on a point or dock or hitting another boat using it while they tie on a new bait or land a fish though.
My kind of stuff.....Hope this I-Pilot works better than Raymarine's Helmpilot. It went crazy below 1.5 mph. Discontinued product.
You would know I just bought a co-pilot for my Terrova.

Yep. Couple years ago they didn't have the high accuracy gps chip set. I will believe this when I see it. I was/am familiar with the Raymarine Helmpilot and it was a flop. The motor wore out from all the heading corrections caused by the gps inputs. You know how your heading arrow jumps, well the shaft drive motor gonna follow the directions.Quote:
