Thread: Nice thing about lure colors are the variety - even clear lures

I proved to myself last year that clear soft plastics catch as many fish of all species as those of different hues. These were poured yesterday and I guarantee they will catch fish even in less than clear water. The only one dyed chartreuse is the mini-stick on the right up one from the bottom.


Note the color captured within each due to a change in light waves as well as reflected light off each surface contour.

As long fish feel a lure's action and visually take note of the lure's form and size, lure's that have the right action - with angler input - can't fail to get struck. In fact, each has an action that is unique but strike provoking when rigged on a light jig head with the right size hook. Most can be worked in more than one way - a few even under a float - and in most depths from near the surface down to 8'.
