Weight is weight. you don't measure out 4 fluid oz in a measuring cup, you weigh out 4oz of plastic. so if 10 baits weigh 1 oz, you calculate that there is 128oz per gallon, 128 x 10 = 1280 per gallon of plastic. you do need to remelt all leftovers to get this number but it will get you close.
