Jackie to be honest I got all caught up in the rosey red thing a few years back when I just started pouring, got it very close waisted a lot of plastisol and never did good with them. If your lake is gin clear like mine the old stand by colors always and continue to out perform any other colors. Your watermelon ghost your blacks, blues, purples with chartreuse tails electric chicken, the opac Colors like monkey's milk or sand in the fall . Just trying to save you some time and supplies . I have two close friends both retired who fish all the time one is a guide the other a computer programmer both have combined 40 years of records of trips, time of seasons, depths, weights, colors ,speeds ,one has a spread sheet on all 10 of his,color coded rods he pulls with, you name it
, the colors I gave as examples always preformed . Skip on the fly tying side has some incredible pictures of live roses reds and that's what I used to match you can ask him to shoot you those pics I think he would help in that dept.
