    Default Question on injecting

Ok I have issues with my mold only when placing tails in the mold and injecting the bodies. Only on the left side bottom two cavities do I have issues with. The body will only fill half way just like I was laminating. The result is a tail with only half a body down the middle. I have tried worm oil and sometimes it works and then not. The mold is warm. Any ideas. It is a mo magic mold. I sure wish they would come out with a tail mold.

When your injecting its probably pressure on your clamp. When it's too tight no way for air to escape ? Causing voids

    Default Question on injecting

Makes sense as that is where my clamp is on that side. Thanks will try a lighter clamp pressure. I have been clamping it pretty good. I would know when it didn't fill good as I would see air bubbles come up the spru. That must be from the air not vented.

I guess my question would be do the molds only require one clamp on the open side?

If you're doing half a bait in one color, make sure the side open for injecting is the side with the vents cut into it.
