ok. That sounds impressive. The "Plastic" room; the "Jig Tying room"; The "boat repair" shop room; The "This is the man cave" room; and the "Room with the view of the lake" room. You are too tough bob. Thanks. Your magazine should arrive today.

Well Bob, I took the plunge and tried it today. I did not have any large nails or 2x4's laying around the house so I used phillips screwdrivers. I have to work on the cutting tails part...but at least I tried. I do not think the fish will mind. Here is how they came out.

One final touch. Insert a small sponge to firm the head and to hold attracting scent.

This worked better as a drying station for the screwdrivers.

I started fooling around with soft plastics about eight months ago. I started looking at the stuff Keith Pace and Bob Hinkle were doing and decided to try my hand at it. The lures in my siggy are some of what I can do now also. Read all the stickies at the top of this forum.

I got my microwave and the Pyrex measuring cups at local thrift stores. You can get nice molds and an injector at Caney Creek or Jacobs baits or janns Netcraft. When you get glitter or coloring, be sure it is the type for soft plastic bait making.

I am going to get the correct nails and 2x4 tomorrow. We will see what I can do with the technique then.
