Well Bob, I took the plunge and tried it today. I did not have any large nails or 2x4's laying around the house so I used phillips screwdrivers. I have to work on the cutting tails part...but at least I tried. I do not think the fish will mind. Here is how they came out.

One final touch. Insert a small sponge to firm the head and to hold attracting scent.

OK Ship you've got my attention I wanna do this, but as to where and what is the jigs made of and where can get it. The colors how do you do it. I'm an open book just fill in the pages and ill learn all I can. Thank you
I started fooling around with soft plastics about eight months ago. I started looking at the stuff Keith Pace and Bob Hinkle were doing and decided to try my hand at it. The lures in my siggy are some of what I can do now also. Read all the stickies at the top of this forum.Quote:
