The mold offers a couple of challenges, one to prevent de-lamination. I am doing a couple more colors today but I'm doing tails of different color.

Sinuses took off on me during the night and I've been up since around 3:30 am. Just got the leg settled down and now a sinus infection. I get this every year, spring and fall....so I've been waiting for it to show up. Doc at ten and more meds. Life's just a riot at times, but at least I still cast a shadow.
How are You preventing de-lamination CTom? Thanks CF

I shoot the filler plastic hotter than normal and add LOTS of stabilizer to it. 370 has been the norm. I maintain steady pressure on the injection of the second plastic for an 8 count. If I see any indications of a loose laminate, I add eyes and do a full length body dip in clear.

Here are a few more on the small ones. Man, this mold is fun to work with.

All of those with colored backs have the bluegill for a belly color. Hand pouring a clear color into these small cavities is a treat but doable. The smelt colored bait sticks with my liking natural loooking baits, while that bright green sticks with a color that has been super hot of late. These are taking a trip to the Mighty Mississippi River tomorrow.
