I shoot the filler plastic hotter than normal and add LOTS of stabilizer to it. 370 has been the norm. I maintain steady pressure on the injection of the second plastic for an 8 count. If I see any indications of a loose laminate, I add eyes and do a full length body dip in clear.

All of those with colored backs have the bluegill for a belly color. Hand pouring a clear color into these small cavities is a treat but doable. The smelt colored bait sticks with my liking natural loooking baits, while that bright green sticks with a color that has been super hot of late. These are taking a trip to the Mighty Mississippi River tomorrow.
