One of my favorite baits for summer is a Bear's Twitchy Minnow in 1.75". I've been able to do some dandy two-color adaptations by trimming off the tails of one color and shooting in a different color for the bodies. But I like belly colors that are different and one of those colors is the baby bass green over a goldish belly seen in another thread. I took some time today to play with belly type stuff today and came up with these.

    Talk about time eaters.

Now I need to get these out and put them to the test. They'd be sweet with eyes but they've taken up enough of my time already I think. lol

I was able to elude Ma this afternoon and did another color on the same order.

This one is a real thin pearl belly with just a hint of turquoise hi lites along with the glitters. The back starts out as a smoke, then a good dollop of turquoise hilite, periwinkle and blue glitters.

I like this pup too. The back color is something else out in the sun.

you need to send me some samples of that one in the bottom pic, I think that one would smoke the crappie here where I live. I sure wish I had that mold but can not afford to buy it for a while. I really want to order some hilites and pearl powders too. Those look great.
