I can put my two cents worth in on this bait. I know it works good. One day I was fishing and it was the only bait I could get the crappie to bite. I will be ordering some more of these in the future. Snake I have your check made out I just gotta get it in the mail.

    Those look great!
I make my own spikes and my own molds - some of them I even tap the holes in the mold - to put rings around the body and tails. But these work great and easy to make.

thanks guys for all the good comments they are a ton of fun to make and I'm glad to see him here that they do actually work for something as simple as that but you never know what may catch fish may be very shocking years ago I was fishing with the young man probably in his 40s and I was 16 I was using marabou jigs and he was using nylon bristle type of a jig the bristles were so stiff I do not know how the world that that thing caught fish but he was out fishing me 10 to 1 he was getting ready to go home and I asked him if I could buy one of those jigs from him he simply handed me one and right away I started catching fish so that shows to tell you you never know what is going to catch fish.

    Hey Bbob,

Tried the new technique we discussed and made an imitation Bluegill color. What do you think? Might use it in my siggy.

Mike it looks good but I would definitely tear the body off where the tail starts.
