Be VERY careful with the micro bubbles...they are a significant inhalation hazard.

I don't know if this will help but Mann came out with a tube kit with foam inserts. I bought one but I don't rember using the inserts. My thought was that if I could figure out how to make some small enough, they would probably be great to insert in a tube and float up under a oak tree or around cypress boles for bluegills / warmouths. They will certainly take fly rod poppers.

Is that a mounted crappie on your thread? If it is it's a really nice display. Hoe big was the fish?

Heck with it. I will just stick with buying floating jighead and use my Carolina Rig.

sorry I haven't been on ship I've been awful busy I believe the plastic that you would want is a 502 plastic from lure-craft I do not use any floating agents in my plastic I simply by the plastic that looks I've only got one gallon for my personal use we use this for plastic worms and insects and stuff like this that I want to plastic to float you can get online and go to their site and look at the different plastics that they have please let us know how you do if you do get a gallon of the 502 we have tried it and I like it it's a different type of plastic than I have been using we had been using Calhoun's warning about using different plastics make sure that you have talked to other guys that have used different plastics yourselves to get information not all plastics I like there are quite a few of them didn't smoke in our horrible to use so far Calhoun's has been real good and I do like the 502 plastic from lure-craft probably in the future I will be ordering 55 gallons from them.a personal note to everyone we have been extremely busy with my property we are trying to sell it and relocate we've been looking at property in Texas also Louisiana but most likely that we will land up in Texas we plan on buying property not too far from skip we've had our place up for sale for over a year and no luck yet so we are still hoping that somebody will come along and buy it we are dying to get down to Texas to catch some of those big crappie hopefully there will be some water left when we get there if we do.

You and Skip willmake fine neighbors. I hope that happens for you. I gave up on the floating grub idea. I have bronchitis and asthma and everything says beware of the fumes. I did not need a gallon of the stuff as I was only making a few for myself to float on a #4 hook for bull gills and deep crappie.

I will pray that your move to Texas happens soon.

Luther, that is a mounted Crappie. It is at the Bass Pro Shop in Leeds Alabama. I did not catch that one. I wish I had. I just liked the mount so I took a photo of it.

From snake river"a personal note to everyone we have been extremely busy with my property we are trying to sell it and relocate we've been looking at property in Texas also Louisiana but most likely that we will land up in Texas we plan on buying property not too far from skip we've had our place up for sale for over a year and no luck yet so we are still hoping that somebody will come along and buy it we are dying to get down to Texas to catch some of those big crappie hopefully there will be some water left when we get there if we do.

Best of luck selling your place bob, a member of my family is in real estate here in Illinois and yes its been very slow but is now starting to pick up fairly good here. And farm land is priced the highest its ever been in most places of Illinois so hopefully your market will pick up & you ncan sell. Best of Luck to you...........jax
