Thread: well guys

I have two pretty good sized LP Gas heaters in my shop....I have a 30X50 ,1500 square ft. shop ( insulated good) with a 12 ft. ceiling, I can heat it up pretty quick.

we have a 55 gallon size heater for burning wood if I'm not too lazy to fire it up it will definitely heat up the shop your shop is the exact same size as mine I believe ours is 30 x 60 it's all made out of blocks with the concrete floor which makes it terrific we enjoy working out there when we do I need to clean my shop up a little bit I believe I have more plastic on the floor than I do in my barrel I believe my ceiling is something like 14 feet .

Show off....LOL. My winter work area is a small desk in the garage. My summer work area means move the desk to the shed and rearrange the riding mower to fit in there. Such is life.

It was 64 yesterday and after Christmas will be in the low 60's. I do not envy you Bob. Been there...done that....hated that weather and shoveling all that snow. Do not even get me started on trying to drive on ice. LOL.....royal butt pain.

Anyway Merry Christmas to all.

Dang Bob, that is cold. Been in the 70s here in Eastern NC for the past couple day. Cold front got here late this evening and now we are going to cool down to the mid 50s. Whole lot better than last year as we already had a couple snows and got a big snow Christmas night last year. Nobody round here knows how to handle any snow over a couple inches. We got like 10 inches out of that one. Talk about a shut down and idiots on the roads. 50 to 55 is our normal Christmas weather. Could rain a little though on Christmas day.CF

you are terrible Mike tell me at 64° down there so me and the wife decided that we will pack her bags and be down there in two weeks

we are used to the snow and ice but this year it is super dry. Just like the Fourth of July here dust is blowing we are really afraid that we will not get enough snow pack for irrigation this summer usually we have a little bit of snow often on here at the house but it does not stay it's usually all around us anywhere from 4 to 10 foot you don't have to go very high from here to get into snow but like I say there isn't any this year usually we put on studded tires in November and do not take them off until mid April we Snowstorms here even in April our weather does not turn warm until June yes we have days before that are in the 70s and 60s but it's usually blustery right up until June.

Read a blog today from a NASA meteorologist. He said that the La Nina phenomenon that is ongoing right is going to cause another drought in the west this year. This could be the effects You are seeing now Bob. It must really be some dry air there to be that cold for that long. Hope Y'all get some precip to recharge Your water supplies.CF

Our door is open for you and Learned my friend. Coffee will be on and the water on the lake is soft.......just the way I like it. No hard water for me. I do not like snow or ice Bob. When I grow up I want to be like "G" and have a home on a small pond or reservoir. I turn 66 today and I hope to have it by 70. Dreams do come true.
