I couldnt imagine spending that much on just plastic to pour baits.banghead Sounds like it's almost impossible to get into pouring just for a hobby or to supply yourself with baits. You would almost need a very good customer base before ever getting started. Thanks foir sharing the information....I'da never thunk!:rolleyes:

you really dont want to get in to it just for your self. about 250.00 to start. You can buy a lot of baits for that money. BUT if you just like making your own there is no better than to catch good fish on your own stuff.

One thing to remember that on Plastisol it goes up in relationship with the price of oil ..

2 cents worth (with inflation it is more like $1.00)

While other little piggies went to market mine had to stay at home. No money for gas and nothing to draw with from the well. I might get a 2nd mold next July, but probably will be thankful for the one that I have. It will catch fish so I am a blessed man.
