Default it's not cheap making plastic baits

we were checking on prices for 55 gallon drum man have they went up in price two years ago we were buying a drum of plastic for about $800 the other day we got quoted a price of over $1200 so I did get a gallon of plastic it cost $60 it has went up five dollars in one year so our hobby is getting more expensive all the time not to mention how much waste you will get out of the 1 gallon or 55 gallons so majoring is very important anymore we definitely have to major each Pyrex cup right to the nitty-gritty so we do not waste one drop.

That $60.00 a gallon figures out to be $3300.00 for 55 gallons......so if you use a lot of plastic.....its cheaper to buy the 55 Gal. drum for $1200.00 That way its only $21.82 per gal.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

lol, tell me about it, plastisol goes up every year along with about everything that goes with it. Glitter, colors. I have been spending about a 1000 bucks a month on supplies and I could easily spend more. Best way is to get everything in bulk. more up front but it save a lot of money in the long run

Holy crap Batman. That is why you guys are so great. You have a lot invested. That is a hit on the wallet. You have to sell a ton just to break even. I just bought 2 quarts. That is enough for a beginner. Will definitely superglue my baits on to my jigheads. (LOL)

While other little piggies went to market mine had to stay at home. No money for gas and nothing to draw with from the well. I might get a 2nd mold next July, but probably will be thankful for the one that I have. It will catch fish so I am a blessed man.
