If you had a old mold that you just absolutely did not like you could experiment with it maybe....just thinking out loud here. Sounds like it would be fun to fool around with anyway.

In a few months when I go back to work Imight buy a few just cheap molds that I can experiment with like you said. Would be fun to try a few different things with one.
When you do let me know how it works out

Just a thought , Maybe you could use a leather punch to put the hole where you want it. I personally have never found scent to be effective enough to bother with it.
pondhopper, I have never found scent to help either. Some people swear by it though. I thought that if I want to sell some baits that this option might make them sell better also. Like I mentioned before I think the nibbles affect the presentation is why they have not been affective for me. If I can get them in the hole then there would be no affect.
I've only used them a few times . If memory serves me correctly they maintain pretty much a uniform shape and size out of the pack or bottle. I'll give it some thought .I mostly Experiment and help others with their projects. I don't sell anything unless some body hunts me down for Christmas or birthday presents.
