He said he hated to charge that much but said he is trying to find ways to be more efficient so he could go down on the prices. I hated to pay 350 for that mold, but I had one guy quote me as much as 4,000 for a mold like this and another guy quoted me 2,000. Needless to say i never contacted them again and cant remember now even who it was. Well he said 40 dollars per cavity, so if you do the math thats close to 2,000. I think the prices will come down a little bit in the future, but alot of it is dictated by how long it takes to do the program and how long it takes to cut the mold as well
I understand perfectly well and realized the cost factor and programming the computer's. it takes quite a while to set one up to cut that many cavities no I wouldn't mind paying that at all but we are debating right now wanted to get one or not we are, waiting on some other stuff to go through we are waiting for Jacob for one I'm sure that I would have plenty of interest in that mold. As you do it is a good looking plastic bait .have you tried to mess around with power paint with plastics we were thinking about dusting some of the cavities to see what it would do. Also we were thinking about putting some of the plastic colors on the cavities also so I have a lot of experimenting to do to find out how far I can go with this stuff. I haven't had time to do anything lately. But I hope to post some more pictures guys we do have some interesting color combinations that we would like to post. And of course with that many colors coming I can do a lot of experimenting.
