I don't have a problem transporting stuff to the Lake, it is the lifting part that I can't do (2 back surgeries) so I use left over brick from building sites. The brick have 3 or 4 holes through them so I take 2 pieces of boo and slide 3 brick on them from the bottom then run a galv. drywall screw through the boo to keep the bricks from sliding off. Then all you have to do is drop them over the side of the boat and they won't weigh 10 pounds each.
I build my pallets beds then load in the boat. Put the rocks on there. Just have them to where I just slide them off without much lifting.
