    Default Cypress Limbs

I made this out of some Cypress limbs that I cut off a tree in our back yard that were too low to mow under.

Well that was June of 2007. Today it is producing some really good crappie. I guess sometimes it takes longer for structure to produce quality fish than you would think.

Below is a picture of my wife with a double we caught off of it on Saturday afternoon. We ended the day with 39 crappie and had a great day on the lake.

Nice fish and a beautiful partner to share it with. I think cypress is a lot like cedar. If it's green it takes a while to pay off but the best part is it will last for a while.

Nice. Some spots are seasonal or produce at certain water levels. I have spots produce within days and others may take awhile or till conditions are right for the area on the lake .

That cypress works pretty dad-gum good if you ask me.

Your little investment in time a year and a half ago has come to fruition. Looks like your wifie enjoys this crappie fishin' as well.

You are a blessed man. <><
