Thread: PVC pipe structures?

I notice on several of the pictures posted on here that most of the pipe is all the same size. Is there any advantage of using only 1 size of pipe, or anything you can get your hands on?

It seems to me that anything will work but legend has it that the wider (larger diameter in this case) something is, the better a crappie likes it because he can hide behind it better. Think about it this way. Do you catch more crappie from around a stump or a twig?
