Thread: Seasoned green beans

Check the spice aisle for "savory" or "summer savory" It's known as the bean herb. I use it in every pot of green beans I fix (along with onion and bacon or ham)

I add some beef broth cubes to the water to flavor the beens and add some salt. I also try to cook most of the water off after they are done so they can saute a little bit in the bacon grease.
