If you make sure and get all of the "red" side meat off your Hybrid/Striper/White Bass filets ... they ain't half bad. That "red" meat is where all the 'strong fish taste' comes from. They ain't gonna be milky sweet, like a Crappie filet ... or have the sweet/nutty taste of a skin-on fresh caught Crappie. But, good enough to bring home a few, when you can get'em

hey guys here's a twist, microwave crappie. Put fillets on a plate sprinkle with lemon pepper, salt ,garlic powder on both sides with a couple pats of butter or marg. Cook for 1 min. and turn over cook one more min. you need to watch them as m-ovens vary in power. They are ready when the meat doesn't have the pink look.Add baked spud, bowl of rabbit food and some garlic toast and you are good to go. Lay a piece on your head and your tonge will beat your brains out trying to gey to it!!!
I practice catch and release..... in hot grease!!!!
