I Cook fish for a lot of people, 20-30 sometimes. If you serve FF, HP and cole slaw 1/2 pound of fish per person. Here is a little method I use for freezing fish. I bought a Stainless Dial scales from cabelas Item # JH-51-5598for about $40.00. I record the date, Lake I Caught fish and # on the freezer bag. I freeze 2lbs. in a Qt.bag and 5lbs in a Gal. bag. When freezing fish I place fish in bag, fill with water. Place bag of fish under water and squeeze out excess water. This removes excess water and keeps air out. It Works for me, it also saves room in your frezer for more fish. Good luck on your fish fry. Crappie Nolan
